I am on board a ferry off the coast of Maine.

There are about two hundred people on board, and I am the only nonwhite. Even the people scrubbing the deck are caucasian. This concerns me.

There is, however, a woman wearing footgloves. I'm hoping that if shit goes bad, I can convince the crowd to turn on her before they come after me, giving me enough time to make my escape.

I wonder if I can rig my laptop with a lifejacket?
