WTF?

Somehow during the course of this trip I managed to tear my favorite denim jacket across the back shoulder-to-shoulder, and also somehow managed to acquire huge rips in both elbows of my favorite shirt (the embroidered linen one with the green accent stitching, for those of you keeping score at home). Man, I loved that shirt. It was comfortable, wearable in the summer and looked good with my build -- not an easy task when you're talking designer shirts, as I have previously ranted.

Both of these fashion casualties (fasualties?) displease me greatly.

Do either of them measure up to the loss of the high school jacket?

What happened? Did those people on the ferry turn on you after all?!

Hm. Perhaps not. But The Jacket was emblematic of an era in my life, so its passing seemed like a milestone.

Also, I have replaced it several times with very similar brown corduroy hunting jackets over the years.

The jacket got into a fight with a barstool. I blame Stego for that one.

The shirt... I have no freakin' clue. I just looked down and suddenly there were gaping tears where the elbows should have been.
