Has there ever been a police report which did not contradict a person who claimed he or she had their civil liberties abused by the police?

This was much as anyone could have expected.

I should add that this doesn't mean Watts's account of events is unquestionable or even slightly true. But a police report made by the men involved in the incident isn't any better.

Exactly what I said to Ran -- I don't believe either one to be honest, but this helps us zero in on what may actually have happened.
