Wow, just saw this. I don't know if it would be any help at all, but I have an empty house (ok, empty of people, but littered with my stuff that hasn't been even close to packed yet) in Collegeville you are welcome to use if you need a place to stay.
It is in no way convenient for getting around Philly though, especially if one has no car.
