Aw man! RIP Dwayne McDuffie.

Oh that's awful news. How old was he? I thought he was one of the younger guys in the field.

I'm glad I grew up when he was doing so much in animation. His touch and vision will definitely be missed.

I dunno. I think he was in his 50s, but I could be wrong.

Icon needs to join the JLA for keeps.

I don't think that will work unless Superman drops out for keeps, which they'll never do. He's too powerful and his powers are the same as Superman. He works better in his own title/continuity, like Shazam.

My ideal JLA includes Supes, Captain Marvel, Icon, and Power Girl. All 4 have the same power set, and I just don't care.

I also don't mind multiple lanterns.

Hell, these days I would not mind two Batmen. (Bruce and Dick)

My vision of the JLA has always been an overwhelming force. Let's get rerally fucking geeky. This is my ideal cast:
