Some days I love Roger Ebert more than I usually do:

Date: 2010-02-06 07:15 am (UTC)However, in the case of Dear John, I almost couldn't finish the book it was so bad. I'm not surprised the movie is the same.
...and Roger Ebert is one of my favorite people of all time, for lines just like this.
