No, way too low-concept for SyFy.

The chupacabra is secretly Merlin's apprentice, transformed into a vicious lizardlike goat-sucker. Our Hero has to fight it because he is secretly the reincarnation of Sir Galahad or something.

Or not. Whatever. It's all about the title.
