yagathaiI don't believe in fate, or karma, or any of that predestination bushwah, and I know that we humans are wired to find patterns in the random Brownian motion of everyday life.
If I did believe in that stuff, though, there are three places which have, with increasingly unlikely regularity, been imposing themselves upon my awareness just as I've been contemplating a change of scenery: Austin, North Carolina and Portland OR. It's really getting to the point where I'm getting exasperated with the imp of perversity that I know does not exist.
