yagathaiMan, my internet is down for a couple of days and of course that's when my LJ explodes with comments a whole bunch of strangers. Hello transsexual invaders! I guess it's true what they say -- you really do travel in packs. I assume, consequently, that you also rule the night.

Anyway, thanks everyone for keeping a remarkably civil tone, considering how ugly these things often get. I think that there was a useful frank exchange of ideas, which to my mind at least is as pleasant as it is rare. Which is to say, very. Thumbs-up and back-pats all around.
