Fast hour 49: You know, I don't know if this sugarfree gum is helping as much as hurting. Chewing on a piece makes me really hungry again.

Fast hour 65: feeling pretty ok. Little weak, little hungry, but mostly fine. Got this sweet taste in my mouth, though. It's persistent and a little disgusting. Tastes like I'd always imagined lead-sweetened paint chips to taste. I don't think it's an acetone taste, but then I never spent any time slurping down nail polish remover.

Oh wait. After tooth brushing, it's definitely an acetone smell. Hello, ketoacidosis, hello!

Awful lot of belly rumbling, though that is perhaps unsurprising.

My nose and throat mucous seem to be of a noticeably thinner consistency. Also, my arthritis is moderately bad today, though I suspect that's just coincidence.

Fast hour 68: I feel very cold. Of course, it is winter and I have my heat turned down to save money, so that's perhaps unsurprising.
