Since Marcia's cats moved out of the apartment, Solomon has put on a lot of weight. The other cats kept him exercised, I suppose. But now I don't know what to do. The other two cats are a healthy weight, and they're fed all together. Feeding them separately is going to be difficult, and Minerva eats plastic if she's hungry and there's no food available.

Sigh.

If it comes down to it, Minerva can be crated when you're not at home. It's better than letting Solomon get diabetes. He was dangerously obese *before* Marcia's cats moved out.

Putting them on a twice a day schedule requires a change in their lifestyle and yours, but it's worth it.

It would also be a good idea to feed them better quality cat food.
