I think you're a very fine dresser, but
Date: 2010-11-19 04:10 pm (UTC)Now, if maybe you could add some steampunk decorations, watch gears, optical lenses set in velvet, I could reconsider.

Date: 2010-11-19 05:15 pm (UTC)Having been back in the South over a year now, I have seen men pull off seersucker. It's generally the blue and white variety (pink/red and white makes me think of old timey ice cream vendors). You have to have a certain kind of personality to pull it off, and my impression of you is that while your personality is big enough, it's not quite the right flavor.
Also, one must either look Sharp in it, or semi-portly. You do not currently have the physique for Sharp. You are not a portly person, but seersucker would do that to you.

Of course, if it makes you happy and you still want it, do it. It's your birthday. :)

The knife-pleated one gets trotted out regularly.
So I guess the moral of the story is... how often will you wear it?
