Last night I achieved caturation (all the cats in the same bed as me) as I was trying to go to sleep. This would have been nice, except that it wasn't the peaceful, sleepy kind of caturation, but rather the "pay attention to me! pay attention to me!" kind (except Minerva, who pretends to be above that kind of thing). This, combined with the fact that I'm going cold turkey off of cold medicine now that this Floridian Death Flu* is mostly gone, meant that I was still staring at the ceiling at 3AM. And then of course I woke up a half hour before my alarm went off, at 7AM.

On the plus side, I can speak, swallow and haven't passed out after coughing too hard at all this week so far. So, silver lining.
