So I read Fuzzy Nation. Then, to clear my palate, I read Little Fuzzy again, twice.
I freely admit that I'm highly biased on the topic, and my opinion should not be taken as gospel. However, I found Fuzzy Nation... mediocre, conservatively speaking. The characters were stock and cardboard, the plot was boring and the prose was, at best, serviceable. It was a wholly unnecessary "reboot".
Little Fuzzy, on the other hand, remains as delightful as ever.
