I bit my tongue, and it hurts like hell. At first I thought this was one of those proverbial First World Problems, but then I thought about it some more and realized that people in the third world also probably bite their tongues. It's just that they're worrying about malaria and genocide so maybe the really annoying cut on the side of their tongue isn't as high a priority.
