OMG you're going to autotune Doogie Patrick Harris singing Aerosmith? For god's sake, why? Why? You know what kind of music doesn't have to be pitch-perfect? HARD ROCK.
Safety Dance = new favorite Glee number. Seriously. I watched it like five times.
Idina Menzel finally gets a number? Took you long enough!

Date: 2010-05-20 08:36 am (UTC)It's like they don't know how to deal with "live" performances, even though that's the whole premise of the show. (Mind you, they don't seem to give a toss how glee clubs/high school choirs work, either, so complaining about 'reality' is probably unrealistic on my part. :p)

Date: 2010-05-20 03:01 pm (UTC)Though what really impressed me about Jonathan Groff is that during Bohemian Rhapsody, he was actually singing along with the recording of himself (the sound was REALLY high, but you could tell when he didn't quite match up with the recording), AND, that when he was pretending to play the white grand piano (yes, they DID stay that faithful to Freddie!), in between takes the actual pianist was coaching him on the bit that he was supposed to be playing, and during the shooting he was actually hitting the right notes :)
