Jan. 29th, 2012 05:31 pmFast hour 65: feeling pretty ok. Little weak, little hungry, but mostly fine. Got this sweet taste in my mouth, though. It's persistent and a little disgusting. Tastes like I'd always imagined lead-sweetened paint chips to taste. I don't think it's an acetone taste, but then I never spent any time slurping down nail polish remover.
Oh wait. After tooth brushing, it's definitely an acetone smell. Hello, ketoacidosis, hello!
Awful lot of belly rumbling, though that is perhaps unsurprising.
My nose and throat mucous seem to be of a noticeably thinner consistency. Also, my arthritis is moderately bad today, though I suspect that's just coincidence.
